Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.

Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons & daughters of God. The sacrament of Baptism not only gives us sanctifying grace: it also makes us adopted children of God and heirs of heaven. This is the first sacrament of initiation.

1. Fill out the Baptism Registration form.
 •Copy of Child's Birth Certificate (under the age of 7)
 •Confirmation Certificates for God Parents 
(If married, copy of their Marriage Certificate from the Church. If they are single copies of all sacrament certificates: Baptism, Communion & Confirmation)
•Parish Permission Letter (if not a member of St. Joachim)

 2. Baptism Class must me taken at least 1 month before desired Baptism Date, both Parents & Godparents must attend a baptism class in preparation for the baptism.

 3. Schedule Baptism

 If child is over the age of discernment (7 years) the child
 will need to attend the Faith Formation RCIC 2-year program click here.
